I have very happy memories of being taken to the Bakery by my Grandad when I was a girl. It was a feast for the senses!

The warmth would envelope you as you walked in, then surrounded by the most delicious sugary smells, you would see all the wonderful cakes and pastries displayed on the counter.

Baskets of fresh bread on the shelves, and sweet slices in front of you covered in shiny icing, squidgy doughnuts oozing with jam, buttery pastries and chocolatey treats galore.

This collection is based on my own love of baking with my boys and those ‘Sweet Memories’ shared with my Grandad, from my childhood!
